Each face of a double-faced card has its own set of printed properties.

  • cr:9.1.2aIf a player may look at a double-faced card, they may look at both faces of the card.
  • cr:9.1.2bIf an effect instructs a player to name a card,[8.5.21] they may name one side of a double-faced card, but not both.
  • cr:9.1.2cIf an effect applies to a double-faced card, it continues to apply to the card even if its properties are defined by a different face, as long as it does not cease to exist between changing properties.
