The queue is an extension of the stack zone. It is a collection of attacks waiting to be resolved through combat.

  • cr:3.15.7aThe queue contains an ordered collection of attacks.[1.4]
  • cr:3.15.7bWhen an attack is added into the queue, it becomes item N+1 where N is the number of existing attacks in the queue.
  • cr:3.15.7cThe next attack of the queue is item 1.
  • cr:3.15.7dWhen an item N is removed from the queue by a rule or effect, any layer M where M¿N becomes layer M-1.
  • cr:3.15.7eThe stack is empty when there are no layers on the stack. The queue is empty when there are no attacks in the queue.
  • cr:3.15.7fAttacks in the queue are considered to be on the stack for the purposes of ability functionality[1.7.4] , and determining effect targets[1.8.5a] and parameters.[1.8.6b]
